CADF Statement on Rémy Di Gregorio

An intelligence-led doping test was carried out by the CADF in collaboration with the AFLD (Agence Française de Lutte contre le Dopage)  and the OCLAEPS (Office Central de Lutte contre les Atteintes à l‘Environnement et la Santé Publique) on March the 8th 2018 on the French Rider Rémy Di Gregorio during the UCI WorldTour race Paris-Nice. The test returned an Adverse Analytical Finding (AAF) for Darbepoetin (dEPO)*. The rider was provisionally suspended by the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) and a press release was published on the UCI website (http://www.uci.ch/pressreleases/uci-statement-remy-gregorio/) * dEPO is classified as “Peptide Hormones, Growth Factors, Related Substances and Mimetics” as per the World Anti-Doping Prohibited List.”
