Stakeholders’ Contributions

CADF has a unique model where the Sport’s stakeholders directly contribute financially to the CADF.  Such a system was implemented in 2008 with the creation of the CADF.

The funding of the CADF is agreed by a Funding Committee including the key stakeholders, namely the UCI, Association Internationale des Groupes Cyclistes Professionnels (AIGCP), Association internationale des organisateurs de courses cyclistes (AIOCC) and theCyclistes Professionnels Associés(CPA).

The professional road cycling teams and the UCI World Tour organisers make direct financial contributions to the CADF, as does the UCI. Other stakeholders, such as riders and organisers/teams from other disciplines, make indirect contributions through the UCI.

Funding may vary from year to year depending on numbers of teams, races, etc.  The details of the contributions across the cycling disciplines to the UCI anti-doping program managed by the CADF can be found here.

The CADF’s annual budget is in excess of 6.5 million CHF.
