Welcome to the Cycling Anti-Doping Foundation (CADF) website !

This online platform will allow all cycling stakeholders, riders, teams, race organizers, as well as media and the general public, to obtain all the necessary information about the CADF, its activities and other practical requirements.

The CADF is a non-profit foundation created in 2008 under Swiss law. The CADF’s role is to manage the anti-doping programme from strategy and test planning to preliminary result management on behalf of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The CADF acts in compliance with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code, the related International Standards, the UCI Rules and related Anti-Doping Regulations. The CADF has been fully independent from UCI since 2013.

This website will provide you with more details on the CADF’s responsibilities, namely to:

  • Define and implement the doping control strategy on behalf of UCI;
  • Conduct a comprehensive in- and out-of-competition testing program to detect prohibited substances and methods;
  • Investigate and intelligence-gathering; grouping information from law enforcement, anti-doping organisations and other sources to strengthen the Anti-Doping programme;
  • Define and implement a storage & retesting strategy;
  • Manage and constantly improve the Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) program;
  • Provide support to the UCI Legal Anti-Doping Services (LADS);
  • Provide administrative support to the UCI TUE Committee for the management of Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE);
  • Train the CADF Doping Control Officers (DCO) ;
  • Train riders and teams in the use of the different existing online platforms (ADAMS, ALPHA);
  • Play a consultative role with regard to research, education and prevention
